Datacable are experienced installers of both radio-frequency and infra-red wireless communication systems.

Within a few years, just about every room of every public building will have a WiFi presence, so that laptops will have network connections almost everywhere you take them (if they have the appropriate permission!).

But beware .. wireless is data rates can be VERY disappointing. Wireless links are like a very narrow M25 – two cars, a racetrack; twelve cars, gridlock. We think it's best to provide wireless access only for users who really can't plug into a wall socket. Come to us for serious, sensible advice before you spend too much!

We can also provide point-to-point solutions, wirelessly linking remote buildings where fibre-optic links are for some reason not practical or economic. (Ask us about leased-line solutions, carrying medium-bandwidth data over BT landlines between sites, too).
